The second convening of the V3 Network, a South Asian LBQ women’s network hosted by Youth Voices Count (YVC), brought together powerful voices from across Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh to strengthen our collective movement.
In partnership with Women’s Solidarity Network (WSN), the only LBQ-exclusive organization in Sri Lanka, we envisioned the future of the network, finalized a digital engagement plan, and shared vital updates on country contexts.
One of the most inspiring takeaways? The deep support system that continues to grow through this network of LBQ activists – connected not just by cause, but by care. As one participant shared, “This is a space where I feel cherished and I wish every one of you feel the same way.”
The convening was filled with heart and hope. “It was soooo heart-warming for me. Definitely my core memory from this year Thank you V3.” Another reminded us, “It gives me a lot of hope for the future and grounds my personal practice, V3 truly is the catalyst for long-term progress.”
We also held space for reflection and growth:
“It is important to maintain the space where we all respect each other’s opinion even in disagreement.”
“May we continue centering kindness, compassion and humanity in our conversations and work that we do.”
“I hope we can support each other and create a welcoming space for all to learn, grow and teach – with a space for error as well.”
This is what solidarity looks like.
